Taliesyn was born in Cardiff 22 April 1896.  Son of William John Henry Beazley and Elizabeth Jane.   Died 29 June 1916, Mesopotamia, and is buried at Amara War Cemetery - Iraq, Plot Ref: XI. G. 9. He attended Stacey Road, Splotlands Infant School, Cardiff in 1899.

William Holloway Greathead

William Holloway Greathead was born in 1890 in Birmingham, Warwickshire in England. He was the son of John Josiah Greathead and Ann née Oliver. He lost his mother when he was only 7 years old while she was giving birth to his brother Alfred. William worked as a coal miner hewer and married Emily E Truman in 1914 in Birmingham. Thomas Ignaitius Haggar

Thomas Ignaitius Haggar - Died 8 Aug 1916 on the Somme, France.  Buried in Delville Wood Cemetery, Longueval, France.  Private, Service No 303732, 1st / 8th Battalion, The Kings (Liverpool Regiment). Maurice John Dicksee

Maurice was about 11 years old in December 1908 when he submitted the Christmas Pudding drawing along with a poem to the Invalids' Magazine Album. Perhaps he also had the natural artistic talent that was so abundant in his family.
