New Membership with Study Registration (Apr) Posted 15 November 2020 by GB £42.50 For new members, the initial amount payable when joining is based on a sliding scale depending on the month joined. For joiners in April, the membership term is 19 months to 1 November of next year. To pay in another currency please make your selection in the sidebar. The membership will subsequently be due for renewal annually at an ongoing cost of £18 GBP (or equivalent in other currencies). The study registration fee is a one-off payment. A member can, over a period of time, register up to a maximum of three different surname studies. A member may register for additional one-name studies once they are a member of the Guild. All study registration requests are carefully scrutinised by the Study Registrar who may accept the registration of the proposed study surname and variants, or ask the member to consider altering the request in some way, or, rarely, refuse to accept the application for some stated reason. In these matters the Study Registrar’s decision is final. If a surname registration were to be declined after the registration fee has been paid, the fee would be returned. All Guild members must adhere to the Guild’s Membership Conditions.
