DNA Discoveries for Family History Research

The following article is very comprehensive and starts with a brief history of Genetic Genealogy, and then covers in-depth information about the three DNA tests available for genealogy, plus a description of DNA projects, including their role.

Four case studies are then presented with real research situations and the results, including the DNA test results.

The further reading section provides a variety of articles to consider for additional information.
