Medieval & Early Modern Records seminar Posted 18 May 2014 by Departed MemberThe Guild’s August 2014 seminar was on the subject of Medieval & Early Modern Records. The Guild visited Yorkshire to discover records from 1274, including Manorial Records, York Archbishopric Cause Papers and Early Immigrant papers, some newly indexed, providing the potential to extend knowledge of early surname distribution throughout the country.
