Will You Meet the Guild in St. Charles?

Posted 6 May 2019 by Tessa Keough

The Guild Exhibit in St. Charles, Missouri

The Guild Exhibit is all set up and Guild volunteers are ready to meet fellow Guild members and anyone interested in learning more about one-name studies or the Guild. Do stop by and check out the Guild’s newest banner and some great takeaways – well done organizers!

(An update to my original post – Please do NOT go to St. Louis!)

Marie Byatt and Barbara Bush (assisted by several volunteers) will be showcasing the Guild at the National Genealogical Society’s 2019 family history conference in St. Charles, Missouri. The conference takes place May 8-11 and is a highlight of the USA genealogy conference calendar. This year’s theme is Journey of Discovery and NGS is  hosting 150 lectures, 80 exhibitors, and 2,000 genealogists. If you will be attending the conference, do stop by Booth 513 and meet some of your fellow Guild members.

To learn more about the conference, visit the NGS conference website.

Thanks so much to our volunteers for organizing this effort – and have fun in St. Charles (if you have some extra time once the conference is over, head southeast to check out St. Louis  (home of the 1904 World’s Fair and subject of the 1944 film “Meet Me in St. Louis”) the city that is called the gateway to the West.
