Henry (also known as Harry) Hagger – Died of wounds 2 Nov 1918, France & Flanders, Service No 204919, 11th Battalion (Prince of Wales Volunteers) South Lancashire Regiment.   Buried Pomereuil British Cemetery.  Enlisted Cambridge.  Awarded Victory and British War medals.
Henry was born in Cambridge in 1888.  In 1901 he was living in Cambridge with his parents Henry and Sarah Ann (nee Langley) and his four siblings Emma, Annie, James and Liddie (Lydia).  In 1911 he was still living in Cambridge with his parents and siblings Annie, James and Lydia.  Henry was shown as a Printers Machine minder.
We can trace Henry’s ancestry back to his Great Great Grandparents James and Ann (nee Beavis) who were married at St Giles Cambridge in 1789.
