Bernard William Hagger – died of wounds in Egypt, 27th Nov 1917. Hampshire Rgt., 3rd / 4th Battalion.  Rank A/Corporal, service number 201706, enlisted Alton, Hampshire.  Awarded Victory and British War medals.
The 3rd / 4th Battalion were a a territorial unit.  May 1915 formed at Winchester and then moved to Bournemouth.

At 129 Neville Road Forest Gate West Ham 1911 census with parents and brother Earnest.  Bernard shown as an Assistant Clerk.  At 58, Dunbar Road, West Ham 1901 census with parents and brother Earnest.
