A DNA project has just been registered in the hope that I can establish the connection between the Swinyard surname in London and Kent. There is also a strong possibility that they connect to the Swinerd surname also in Kent. As there are only a mere 20 males living in the UK in 2011 this will be quite a small project but very necessary.
