Thomas Swinyard (1832-1912) went to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1862 and became President of the Canadian Pacific Railway - being the 13th child he accomplished a lot.
James Swinyard (1842-1910) was Chairman of the Licensed Victualler's Association in Stoke Newington.
