Welcome to https://papuga.one-name.net/, created for family, visitors and fellow genealogists researching the Papuga name.

This website has been created with hopes of housing and preserving the stories, records and history of our Papuga family ancestors and their associated surnames. Some of these people we know about, but many are forgotten because their memories and archives are lost through the years. In any case, it's hard to imagine where we'd be without their dreams, dedication and sacrifice. I hope this website gives you an opportunity to learn something about your Papuga family origins.

This is a One-Name-Study researching the Papuga family name, history and origins, and cultural information.

If you are tracing Papuga roots anywhere in the world, please reach out and make contact. If you are tracing your ancestors from Vojvodina in Serbia, and have done or are considering DNA tests, please contact me.

During the research into my own ancestry, I ran across a few other Papuga branches. As one does in genealogy research, I wondered if they were related to me. It turns out that at least one of those branches was related to mine, but the others have not yet been connected. I spent some time digging into those other branches and they are now somewhat better organized.

Thank you for dropping in.
