Hi, my name is Steve and I have been doing my family history since 1969 when my Mum gave me her family bible. In 2008 I met my wife who's maiden name was Malyn and I added her and her family to mine. Since then the name Malyn has been the most important part of my research.
Since starting this research I have managed to go back to the 1300's and am hoping to go even further. During this research I have come across quite a few memorable Malyn's and I will add these in the Historical Occurrences as I go along.
Also I will be using Excel to record the surnames I come across.
William MALYN was a secretary to Oliver CROMWELL .
Robert le MALIN was the Grandfather of Geoffrey CHAUCER.
Sir John MALYN, Admiral in Elizabeth 1 Navy.
