Details of all these entries are shown in the Notes of the appropriate persons listed in the several Family Trees on my website www.hulley.info. There is also a section in my book - The History and Hulley Families of the One House Rainow that covers the topic in more detail. The surname in other areas of the United Kingdom is not as varied as those listed above. The main difference in Yorkshire is that ULLEY/ULLY and HOOLEY was shown in place of HULLEY. HULLAH appears briefly  in North Yorkshire but was found to be a separate family.

I discovered his grave and established a fund for its restoration. A re-dedication ceremony was held in June 2007. A memorial plaque was unveiled in 2014 at the Lifestyles Sports Centre Liverpool by the Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside and the Lord Mayor of Liverpool. A further development in the John Hulley of Liverpool story was the erecting of a statue to his memory on Liverpool waterfront in June 2019. It was financed by the Liverpool Heartbeat charity and unveiled by her Royal Highness the Princess Royal, Princess Anne, whom I had the honour to meet.
