Hi, my name is Paul. I was brought here by a piece of paper that was handed to me by a Goon at the 2016 WDYTYA show. That piece of paper showed every instance of the Gurr name in the 1881 census. (Not too many ) This got me thinking that it really would be great to find out more about the name and the people behind it. Since then I have been on the verge of starting a study but it has never seemed the right time...... Now is that time....
