The Dunford name is concentrated in Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and in Yorkshire. I have no evidence of a relationship between the two groups. My ancestors came from Longbridge Deverill in Wiltshire, settling in Peterborough County, Ontario, Canada, where many of us still are.
I have tracked every Dunford I can find in Canada and England, along with a number of other names that a commonly confused with Dunford. I do not record anyone born after 1925.
Numerous arguments. I will outline them later.
