Since my membership in GOONS is only a few day old, this will be brief!
The Dunfords have been in the Wiltshire parish of Longbridge Deverill since the 1600s. In the 1830s two brothers emigrated to Peterborough County, Ontario, Canada, where we still are, including me. When I get a website up, it will be this family that will be done first -- I have records on about 10 000 people.
I am aware of Dunfords from Yorkshire but have no information on them.
Danford, Durnford and Dunsford are common misspellings. All are families in their own right so confusion reigns!
Numerous arguments. I will outline them later.
