I have recently registered Davenport as a One Name Study and have a TNG site which can be viewed by clicking on the link above. Davenports spread throughout the world, all descended from one Orme de Dauenport first recorded in 1086 in Cheshire. I am looking to collaborate with other Davenport researchers who can add their trees and hopefully link the many Davenport branches. This will be a difficult task as many the branches in the USA do not know their origins.
I have mapped in the main tree and have done extensive research on the Warwickshire and Leicestershire branches and am hoping to meet others will be able to fill in more.
My interest comes from my grandmother who was a Davenport and married a Mammatt which is my other study.
