My sister Christine A ABRAM and I have been researching the surname ALLERY and its variants since the 1980’s. We are connected to the main tree via my grandmother Rosina Elizabeth TERRY (Allery) 28th Apr 1870 – 6th Aug 1935, the daughter of Samuel John ALLERY 23rd Aug 1847 – 28th Jun 1922.

ALLERY, ALLARY, ALLEARY
The majority of ALLERY’s can be connected to one tree originating from the Dartmouth area of Devon England, a second tree originates from the Durham area of North East England. This then leaves a number of smaller trees that have yet to be placed.
Following the acquisition of family names by the Chippewa Indians in the North Dakota area of North America in the 1800’s the surname ALLERY has been used by one or more families. This area of research is still in its early stages.
