Posted 7 July 2022 by Julie Goucher

Yesterday we welcomed Guild Member, Jeanette Rosenberg, OBE, who will speak about naming practices, surname adoption, name changes and some of the Jewish genealogy one-name studies and also provide information about useful Jewish genealogy sources and resources that people with non-Jewish genealogy specific one name studies can use for their research and one name studies.

The talk will help people find their way around Jewish genealogy sources for their one name studies, whether they are Jewish last names or not, and the talk will cover worldwide resources and sources of information.
