There he met Emma Howes, they married and moved west with their sons, Fred, Jr. and George. In 1913 when George Pegg was three, the Pegg Family moved first to Edmonton and then on to Glenevis for the opportunity to homestead. Frederick and Emma raised eight children on this farm: Fred, George, Ruth, Harry, Sid, Hazel, Elsie and Alice. The house you stand beside today was built in 1928.
