Go to the Software Section where there is a folder for Outwit Hub under 'Other Software'.

Guild member Jo Tillin has written in her blog about how she uses Outwit Hub for her Tillin one-name study.

Tony Timmins' blog post from 2012 FamilySearch for Timmins in 1881 using Outwit Hub. He says you get the best results if you select Dynamic on the source page first. Then use the Scraper to define what data to extract. Check out the tutorials about scraping they are really good.

Presumably the program has changed quite a bit since 2012 although with luck the basic principles will remain the same. Tony also created various tools for extracting data from FamilySearch and the SSDI data.

See the responses from Tony in this thread in the WebForum.

It might be an idea to contact Tony direct, although Tony has created a board on Pinterest about OutWitHub

Useful links

Outwit Hub tutorials

ExcerptOldNewDate CreatedAuthorActions 19 August 2020 @ 22:57:44 Claire Furney 17 March 2018 @ 20:47:09 Kim Baldacchino 8 March 2018 @ 19:00:17 Julie Goucher
