My search for the TABOURDEUX's was first triggered when I found that my Dad's Paternal Grandparents were born Edmund Bradley, known as 'Little Granddad', and Emma TABOURDEUX who was known as 'Big Grandma'.
Over the years I have gradually pieced together Family Tree's (both related and non-related) and have all the available records since the TABOURDEUX arrived in England from France sometime in the period 1680 - 1700.
The TABOURDEUX were Huguenot Protestant refugees who left France, after the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes, and came first to Canterbuy in Kent and thence to London.
The TABOURDEUX Name seems to have three main Variants.
The TABOURDEUX and TABOUREUX lines originate in Plessy-Marly in France.
The TABUTEAU line stems from La Rochelle in France.
