Guild Datastores

The Datastores facility was developed to provide a backup for records from members’ one-name studies and to make these available to fellow members of the Guild or to the general public.

The contents consist of bulk data collected by members as part of a registered study classified by type – the main ones being births, deaths, probate, census; these have now been organised in a more consistent format. If a member contributed data related to their study to the old bmd vault these are now appear with the other datasets as ‘global births ‘ or ‘global deaths’.

There are also other global births and deaths contributed by members but unconnected with a registered study.

The general search facility below allows all datastores to be searched together. Individual studies can be searched using the A – Z list .
