Cornucopia Seminar Posted 23 September 2024 by 8 March 2025 9:30 am - 10:30 am Guild contact: Andy Kerridge Time for another of our popular ‘Cornucopia’ seminars, which (unlike our usual seminars with presentations linked to the seminar theme) bring together a range of presentations on a variety of topics of interest to all one-namers and provide an opportunity to meet member requests for particular topics, or to present up-to-the minute developments in family history research. We return to a venue we have used on several occasions, providing ample free parking and situated within easy walking distance of the railway station. For our next 'Cornucopia' seminar, we have chosen a variety of topics based on members' feedback from previous seminars, rich in sources and research strategies . We are delighted to welcome back some familiar speakers for this event: Gwyneth Wilkie: “Name-rich Sources: Financial Records'” Donna Rutherford: “The Future of Family History Research: Using Artificial Intelligence for Genealogy” Sue Swalwell: “WOMEN IN THE DOCK. Lives Revealed in the Court Records.” Donna Rutherford: “Ancestry Pro-Tools in Action: Mastering your research with the new features” Rodney Brackstone: “Manorial Records.....finding where your ancestors lived.....and maybe why they disappeared” We return to Amersham Free Church Hall, which has good transport connections and a car park (vehicle registration required on arrival). Booking is not yet open for this event, but please put it in your diary!
