The September webinar is shining a spotlight on the Fonblaques One-Name Study.  During this session we explore the Fonblanques of England and France; from Huguenot glassblowing in France to banking, law, writing and diplomacy in England in the 18th and 19th century.

“Gentilhomme Verriers”, the Huguenot Fonblanque family were persecuted in France and sent two sons to England to escape. This is the story of their origins and descendants. We also explore researching Huguenot ancestry and researching genealogy in England and France.

About the speaker

Julie. May I just confirm with you that this talk will be on Tues 26 Sep? All the other webinars are on a Wednesday, so this one on a Tues looks the odd-man-out. Just checking!

      Hi Marion,

Yes, the presentation is on 26th September. I usually go with Wednesday’s but every now and again, I switch the date….keeps me on my toes!

      Best wishes,
      Julie
