Webinar - Genealogy the Next Generation - making the genealogy community a welcoming space for all age groups

16 December 2021

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Guild contact: Julie Goucher

In a slightly longer than usual session, Dr Janet Few will be addressing this important question.

Why we need to make the genealogy community more inclusive, with particular reference to age. What are the current barriers? What needs to be done? The important part of this session will be the discussion afterwards.

What will people learn? What problems/difficulties might it help with? Why young people current feel excluded/unwelcome. What can be done by individuals, societies and institutions to overcome this.

This is an important topic that something everyone needs to address.

This event is open to all, but registration is required. Register HERE
