Becoming a Guild (Non-member) Subscriber The Guild warmly welcomes individuals with an interest in one-name studies as members, who can join online using the Membership Application Form. But the Guild’s Constitution accepts only individuals, not groups or societies, as members. So if you are representing an institution (such as a record office or library), and simply want to subscribe to the Journal, then you can do that by becoming a Guild non-member subscriber. The cost of a non-member subscription is £20.00 or equivalent per year, and covers the four Journals published each year, together with the printed Register. The subscription year runs from 1st November to 31st October annually. Note that although the cost of a year’s non-member subscription is the same as the cost of a year’s membership, it does not include any membership benefits, nor access to the members’ area of the website, nor any voting rights, all of which are available only to individuals joining as members. Individuals can also choose to subscribe to the Journal rather than become a member of the Guild, though of course they would not receive any benefits of membership if they choose this option. You can subscribe to the Guild either by post or online1 through this website. Payments to the Guild are preferred in UK currency. However, if you choose to subscribe to the Guild using the online form (see below), there is the option for payment to be made in US dollars, at a fixed price of $29.00. Note that this option is NOT available if you are subscribing by post, since cheques to the Guild MUST be in UK currency. To become a Guild subscriber, fill in the online Subscription Form, which allows you to pay your subscription online either by PayPal or by credit card, or alternatively to print out your subscription details for sending by post. If subscribing by post, please send the form (with the subscription fee of £20.00) to the Registrar: Mrs Susan Hundleby, The Old Smithy, 1 School Lane, Lea Marston, Warwickshire, B76 0BW, United Kingdom 1Please note, when joining the Guild either by post or online, the Guild’s “Distance Selling” terms and conditions.
