The programme today will give new and prospective Guild Members guidance in starting a One-Name Study and the benefits of becoming a Guild member.

Applications are welcome from Guild members, family historians, genealogists, and members of the general public having an interest in starting a One-Name Study.

The cost of the seminar will be £10 per person, including drinks and a light buffet lunch. Over lunch there will be an opportunity to chat with other delegates and browse the Guild Bookstall.

(Note: those travelling to Amersham by public transport should be aware that on Saturday 8th August the Metropolitan line Harrow-on-the-Hill to Amersham and Northwood to Watford will be closed for maintenance. However, there will be a bus replacement service from Harrow-on-the-Hill to Amersham.)
